Basically, the system requires that you take your window measurements and send them in, and the blinds are then built according to these specifications.

They are mailed to your doorstep, disassembled, and you then need to put the blinds back together and hang them over your windows. While this sounds very easy and quick and convenient, it is actually a far more complex and difficult process that it sounds.

If you hang your blinds incorrectly, or put them together badly, then you will find yourself stuck with something of a disaster on your hands. In this sense, it is often better to buy your blinds the old fashioned way, from a company who take the measurements and do the fittings themselves.

Unless they are in the hands of experts, blinds can be difficult to manage. They are not easy to construct or to hang, and this means that you might want to consider ordering yours from a company that works according to the slower, but more reliable system.
